Video cameras have evolved into one of the latest, most innovative tools in the plumbing industry.  Fiber optic cameras are used to perform a visual inspection of piping and sewer lines and can detect pipe condition, damages and blockages.  A high-resolution camera on the end of a flexible rod is inserted into the pipe.  The camera transmits video images to the technician.  These images can be saved to a videotape and kept permanently.  Radio transmitters on the camera can record the location of any damage or obstruction.  This type of technology greatly increases cost effectiveness of many plumbing situations.  This translates to savings for our customers.
